there is chatter in about the Drumkit from Hell, I think once you get passed some of the babble, it will tell you a lot you need to know about it..
fruity loops is definitely cool for doing drums on, but it looks like DKFH is THE best, it's what Meshuggah used on their newest album for chuffney's sake!

The demo of fruity loops isn't too bad... You can do everything you can in the full one except save... you can export as a wav though. So if you do the whole tune at once it's all good.
I still reckon you should get Reason 3.0 though. It's just too good.
