Hello, all! I've made a few posts elsewhere, but thought I would formally introduce myself here.
I am from the US of A, specifically the state of Maryland, city of Bethesda. I am a musician, a classical guitarist specifically, but would love to be in a black metal band if I can find other people with the same musical interests.
I love the black metal, but also enjoy death, trad, and doom (gothic doom, a la My Dying Bride, Anathema, Paradise Lost and more recent torchbearers like Swallow the Sun and Daylight Dies). I love art or "classical" music, as it is colloquially referred to. I also enjoy classic rock (Zepp, Floyd, Tull etc.) and 80s hair metal cheeez, as well as the Beatles and even a little Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., and Charlie Daniels Band (though, for the large part, I do detest country music, but the above mentioned are pretty great). To be more succinct, I am all over the musical map.
Been a ZT reader for a short time, especially after the demise of my beloved Metal Maniacs. Imagine my surprise when I see MM mainstays Liz Ciavarella, Nathan T. Birk, Lord Randall, and MetalGeorge gracing the pages of ZT. From one quality publication to another, eh guys? So far, I can say with certainty that ZT is the most dedicated, informative, and intelligent metal periodicals in circulation. Hailz and Hornz!!!
