There were a couple of really experimental artists last issue (which I think confused a few people, in a good way of course) - and at least all the material this issue isn't bog-standard even if it is metal.
What sort of experimental are you getting at? It's a bit of a Catch 22 - if artists / labels who out out this stuff don't have budgets for tracks, it's not possible to get them on. But I do my best to get a bit of a selection for people.

Really like the Darkthrone track, although isn't it HIKING Metal Punks? Also liking Satyricon, Diabolical, Teutoberg Forest and Pantheist.
I should also mention that I normally fucking hate 6 Feet Under but this track's not bad, considering it's 6 Feet Under.

at least you're guaranteed we cover a lot of weird shit editorially  yeah, issue 025 had some really cool stuff on the cd. this issue is all of a very high standard too though not as varied in style...
