Great issue! Lee Dorrian is a legend! Varg is too, but I kind of wish he'd said more about his music...

Great issue... Great interviews with Darkthrone, Varg, and Tom G., how could you miss? I thought the Varg interview and review of Belus were very compelling. It was great to see the magazine not just gloat over his legend, but to really express how they feel about the guy and his music. I like Burzum's music for the most part, but think Varg is a fool. I'll also be picking up Triptykon based on Tom G. interview and the ZT review. I felt betrayed and angry when Tom G. first announced he was disbanding Celtic Frost, as I've been a fan since Morbid Tales, and thought Monotheist was a fantastic record. But after reading his interview, his reasoning behind Celtic Frost's end and him moving on to Triptykon made sense to me....

Ah yes, and there is an Old Corpse Road feature in Rapid Fire too! Sorry it took a little while to run it. And I meant to say that it's great the issue's being received so well - we're not about frills just thrills...

The Fenriz interview was a belter, the man is hilarious! "I am Black Metal!" Brilliant.

*cough* finally got money so I picked it up. Good issue. Hail Fenriz. Disagreed with Belus interview, but respected Cal's decision. But then I'm a hyper selective prick when it comes to BM anyway.
