just wanting to know if anyone had any ideas about computer programmes to make metal with? preferably free!!!
like the dance ejay thing that my sister likes but that has guitar, drum bass sounds etc. I dont want it to sound computerised. I think its kinda how fear factory write their songs before actually playing them.
thanks for any suggestions

Fruitty loops is quite decent to make metal with...mind you, the geetar sound is shit.... but you can make overtly pompous keyboard stuff which soudns better than bal sagoth! Drums are ok...and you can always import your own geetar bits anyway.
