Juggling two bands, along with work and a personal life had become too hectic, and he could no longer commit to the band to the level required. I think you're a band who has the integrity and good taste in old-school DM, but you sound really generic at the moment, so you need to find your own sound. Don't take it the wrong way - just a bit of constructive criticism. Also hope you find a better drummer because the one on your myspace tracks is shit at blasting!
