Hi, I'm just after some pointers to better my technique. I play in a black/death metal band and I reckon I could play much fast for much longer if my technique was a bit better as I suffer from cramping/fatigue in my arms. I'm not really looking to learn whole new finger push-pull style techniques but just improve on what I'm already doing. I've uploaded a video of me playing one of my band's tracks to youtube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2jusf5FCEs ...and I'd appreciate any constructive criticism. I'm working on loosening my grip with my left hand and holding the stick closer to the fulcrum point but any other suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers

Check out the forum on www.derekroddy.com, it's full of people sharing all sorts of knowledge re extreme metal drumming. Derek used to write for ZT back when we did a drum column, how time flies!
