It seems that e-boredom has descended on these forums like the Poopsmith to an overflowing toilet. I knew I had to do something about it and this morning at about 2:07 AM an idea occured to me, a wonderful idea for the greatest thread ever devised. I then forgot about it and went back to bed. Unable to remember that awesome thread dream I had I instead opted to post this somewhat lesser (though no less fun) idea. It's a bit like that 3-word story game only you can write as much or as little as you like.

The idea behind it came from those Steve Jackson & Ian Livingston 'Fighting Fantasy' books, where you choose what happens next. The story starts of with me sitting at home, safely able to reveal my true alien Vega Bracchium form. Unaware of the adventurous perilous quest that lays before me! Basicly i'll post the first paragraph and then post 3 choices for the next poster to write about. That person needs to write a few sentances (or more if you like) as well as 2-3 choices on how the next poster can continue this mighty tale of sword and sorcery.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN BELLY BUTTON ADVENTURE


Belly Button (the adopted name of the alien Erasmus Thadius Vega Bracchium) was sitting in his primitive earth home. He was out of work and feeling very depressed about it. Ever since being exiled from his homeworld by the tyrant overlord Psyklonikus Omega The 67th, Belly had little to do. Despite his ability to transform into something approaching a human shape he had nothing in common with the people of earth. Or even Tamworth for that matter. Being unemployed also gave him far to much time on which to dwell on his predicament, and no amount of HP Lovecraft or masturbation could make the day go by any faster.
Suddenly he remembered that he had to go down to the Job Centre to sign on for his job-seekers allowance. He hated that place! The only people there were teenagers (with their kids) and grumpy burberry-clad grandparents drinking six-packs of wicked strength lager. Belly couldn't keep this up for the rest of his life. What should he do?...

1) Grin and bear it. Go to the Job Centre you pikey drop-out!
2) Nuts to the Job Centre! I'm going out!
3) Stay in and read some HP Lovecraft... and maybe masturbate some more...

D) Read a Fighting Fantasy book instead.
