I was inspired to make this thread after coming across an amusing old thread on the DnD Forums. If your username was band what would it be? By that what genre/style would it sound like? Be as fence straddling or as crossover avant-garde as you like.
I suppose Belly Button sounds like one of those skronk bands on Load Records that would continue the tradition of naming songs after dead cowboys and hypermagic rainbow mountain castles. The kind of bands that are always getting rave reviews in Rockarolla.

probably a Manowar tribute band (since my username is from a Manowar song), but without the slow songs.

I think that Spinner sounds like it would be an old school speed metal band. Most likely the band would have a shitty spider mascot which appears in all of the artwork, and the debut would be called 'Into The Web'. I would expect that at some point the band would become utterly distraught at such a shit image, and would try to rebrand themselves under an equally shit cosmic theme. After the progressive attempts fail the band would 'go back to their roots' with 'Return To The Web', but the music would still be permeated with the new influences which made the sci-fi era so weak.

Either a Lithuanian kvlt black metal band that brought out one 15min EP release and then disbanded because half the band were sent to jail for performing hideous acts on goats and lamas...
...or a female fronted opera/power metal band who would be inexplicably successful despite the fact all the do is warble over shitty '80s power riffs. I'd be sent to jail for stabbing them to death.
