Northern England Tech-grind fellas Reth have announced that the contract between themselves and Anticulture records has ended due to a breach of contract and lack of communication on the part of the record company.

The band asked Anticulture for their comments over an extended period so that a fair and representative announcement could be made, but while the record label confirmed receipt of these requests, they declined to make any reply. With a new album in the pipeline, the band have decided that this break is necessary to allow both parties to move on amicably and in a professional manner. All ties have now therefore been severed between the band and the label. Reth are not consciously on the look out for another label, but are open to offers.

The follow up promises to be a huge progression from 'Precursors to Extinction', as those who have seen them live in the last year or so will hopefully testify, with the new songs being way more technical, heavy, fast, with more slam, black metal, groove and twisted ideas thrown into the mix, but still remaining very much in the Reth style. The final touches to the songs are being made now, and demo-ing / recording will start in the Autumn.
