The Hell's Pleasure festival will take place on july 23./24. We hereby announce the first four bands.


JANUARY 2010

DESTROYER 666 (AUS)
Finally they'll make it to the Hell's Pleasure! With their explosive mix of Black/Thrash and an intense live show, Destroyer 666 will set the stage on fire...


TRENCH HELL (AUS)
The Australians of Trench Hell celebrate Old School Black Metal in the style of Destruction, Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Sodom and Razor.


THE WOUNDED KINGS (UK)
Their upcoming album "The Shadow Over Atlantis" will be released on "I Hate" this month and should be an absolute treat for all occult doom lovers. The Wounded Kings will surely mesmerize us with a mystical live-show.

SADISTIC INTENT (US)
Sadistic Intent should be well-known to every underground-metal-maniac... The four guys from California, which are also bandmembers of mighty POSSESSED, will play an exclusive old-school Death Metal ritual at the HP 2010.


IN SOLITUDE (SWE)
Great gloomy Heavy Metal in the vein of Mercyful Fate...


COUNT RAVEN (SWE)
The epic doomers from Sweden are also not a dark horse. With heavy riffs and the unique vocals of Dan Fondelius, Count Raven set up a very special live-atmosphere.


GRAVE MIASMA (UK)
Grave Miasma from London play occult Death Metal. With their recent release on Sepulchral Voice Records, Grave Miasma will be a feast for those, who like Necros Christos, Dead Congregation and Drowned.

KAAMOS (SWE)
When you think of Swedish Death Metal, Kaamos is for sure a band, that suddenly comes into your mind... they are back from the grave after their split up and we're glad to put them on the 2010 bill.

MOURNING BELOVETH (IRL)
Hopelessness, desperation and melancholy is, what these guys from Ireland combine in their mixture of Death, Doom and Dark Metal. A must for fans of this genre!

PENTACLE (NL)
Pentacle is an important part of the underground scene for many years. The guys from the Netherlands celebrate Death Metal with body and soul.


REPUGNANT (SWE)
We're happy to announce, that Stockholms per se Death Metal band Repugnant will be on the bill in 2010. The band combines absolute atmosphere and sickness. KILLER!!

WITCHING HOUR
If you're into bands like Kreator and Destruction, Witching Hour will be a feast for you. This is, what 80's Thrash Metal sounds like in 2010.

Cool looking line-up so far. At the current rate no chance I could afford such an endeavour, but heres hoping...

March 2010

KAAMOS (SWE)

Regretably, KAAMOS had to cancel their gig at HPF. The band's statement: "Bad news! Kaamos are no longer existing. We called it quits…".

ABYSMAL GRIEF (IT)

ABYSMAL GRIEF are playing finest Italian Horror Doom Metal and are no way inferior to the godfathers of this scene, DEATH SS. You'll be rivetted by an extraordinary, mystical stage performance and exceedingly atmospheric vibes!

EXCORIATE (D)

EXCORIATE is an extremely fascinating band. The guys from Schwabach accomplish to catapult you back to the days of early Death Metal milestones such as "Seven Churches", "Scream Bloody Gore" and "Morbid Visions". Old school, disgusting, filthy and mean as Death Metal is meant to be.

ANTICHRIST (SWE)

Even if they are still an unknown quantity within the hell of Thrash Metal, there is no doubt at all, that ANTICHRIST's latest demo "Put To Death" should change their status in the scene quite fast…!


DORDEDUH (ROM)

With their new project Hupogrammos and Sol Faur refer exactly to the point where they have ended with NEGURA BUNGET. Among others they get supported by musicians of SECRETS OF THE MOON. Be prepared for a mystic journey!

OCTOBER TIDE (SWE)

In the '90s, Jonas Renkse and Fred Norrman founded the doom-metal band OCTOBER TIDE to continue KATATONIA's musical roots. After two albums, "Rain Without End" and "Gray Dawn", the band broke up ...and in 2010 we are proud to welcome OCTOBER TIDE to the Hell's Pleasure!


MANIAC BUTCHER (CZ)

After a long time, the Czech Black Metal veteran is back to enter a German stage!!! After MANIAC BUTCHER's split up, Barbarud Hrom and Vlad Blasphemer continued their musical career with other projects, including DARK STORM... Be prepared!
