Bogiez Rock Bar & Nightclub is Cardiff's only 100% dedicated Rock and Metal venue.

Bogiez is proud to provide the rock and metal masses of Cardiff (and beyond!) with a pure-rock home whose atmosphere is unsurpassed, delivering relentless storms of the finest tunes from way back when to current day in a killer venue, with huge soundsystem and a sweet bar!

Bogiez is open every day; Monday to Friday - 12pm til late - Sunday - 5pm til late! We are located on Kingsway which is directly opposite Cardiff Castle. Some will know our venue as the former location of the Cardiff Barfly on Kingsway, Cardiff CF10 3FD (and the old Rose & Crown / Coopers way before that!)

They offer a Rockbox with literally thousands of tunes! which is free every day from 12-6 (apart from Saturday)
If you have any requests the will do their very best to add them to the Rockbox, just email in or ask a member of staff.

EVERY Thursday- Hammerd 9-2am
An evening dedicated to the contemporary, every week as our DJs positively obliterate their way through the finest from the up n' coming and the destructively credible. From Metal to Metalcore, Emo to Screamo, Rock to Math-Rock, Pop-punk to Power-Metal, Dance to the undanceable, dark to light and virtually all genres in between.

If your in before 9pm, entry is free, after that its a tiny £4 and standard drinks offers apply

A night of dark delights for those black souls amongst you. This isn't just a "goth" night. This is the darker side of music altogether. Trad, Industrial, Deathrock, Batcave, Gothic Metal, Darkcore, Synth, New-wave, Gothic-rock and anything sufficiently sultry that lurks in dark corners and dresses well to boot.


Nice n Sleazy- Every third Friday of each month
Featuring more Sleaze Metal/Classic Glam Rock than any other night in Wales whilst also catering to fans of Hard Rock/Old School Punk Rock Industrial Goth and Dirty Rock N' Roll.

Heavy Metal bands and Burlesque from 9 - 12, ALL METAL clubnight till 3am.

All the bands are playing for free ALL the money raised will be going to charity. as of 15/02/2011 I have confirmed the link between Goatstock and Ty Hafan (http://www.tyhafan.org), who help care for life limited children and young people.
