Big Spaceship is proud to bring to you an evening of inconceivable filth featuring some of the best hardcore/grind/death metal bands that our fine city of Leeds has to offer. This is the first line up of just Leeds bands that we have done in a while so pull out your slippery finger and support your local DIY music. Here are our descriptions of the lovely bands playing on this fine evening...!

DIASCORIUM
Diascorium offer a fine blend of black death grind crust extreme poly-rhythmic tech thrash metal. Comprised of members whom have previously worked in bands such as Narcosis, Tangaroa, Canvas, A Forest Of Stars and Revokation to name but a few, these guys are veterans of extreme music and are great contributors to the scene in terms of promoting bands and hosting gigs. I dare say this band are looking forward to melting your face clean off.

ETAI KESHIKI
Big Spaceship fuckin loves this band. Etai Keshiki only move in one direction and that's forward. Each time we have seen these guys play they have brought something new to the musical dinner table, they return each time playing harder, faster and with more conviction than most bands we have seen. If noisy screamo hardcore grind filth is your thing then Etai are the perfect band for you. The debut release Etai or Die is available on cassette (which sounds awesome) pick up a copy at the gig. in the mean time you can get a free download form their bandcamp page.

SHALLOWS (prev More Than A Joke)
They have been around for a while, their members have fluctuated they like to party and fuel themselves with a lack of motivation (their words) More Than A Joke are fuckin' immense. These guys really know how to play a good gig and put on a good show instead of just standing still hoping they don't make any mistakes. They play proper Hardcore and proper grind and do a good fuckin job of it. Their self titled 6 track release came out in September and is available to download on their bandcamp page

MAGPYES
"intense eardrum pummeling northern grind! so fast you'll shit!!" These dudes must bathe themselves in some kind of liquid metal steroid before each gig in order to deliver their battery of unrelenting black metal grind. They have countless recordings and releases including various 3 and 4 way splits, all of which are available on their bandcamp page, go see for yourself, believe me, it won't take long.
