ULCERATE hail from New Zealand and they are surely one of the most exciting bands in death metal currently. Their sound incorporates post rock and progressive black metal along with brutal and dissonant death metal of course! Their last release- 'The Destroyers of All' has cemented their position as one of the most challenging purveyors of extreme metal, with it's bleak, vast soundscapes. The band has been going from strength to strength since their debut album and their recent addition to the Relapse roster is thoroughly deserved and sure to bring them to new heights.

SVART CROWN are a French black/death metal band with a dark sound and progressive tendencies. They have an excellent live reputation and will put on a great show, no doubt.

ZILLAH are one of the best extreme metal bands Edinburgh has to offer, they have returned after a long hiatus, rejuvenated by the addition of new members. Expect atypical, discordant riffing and frantic drumming!
