LUGUBRUM

After 20+ years on the low road LUGUBRUM have finally arrived in Scotland...
"Some bands stamp their identity on a genre – Lugubrum invented one of their own. There may be something tongue-in-cheek about the band’s ‘brown metal’ stance, but there’s nothing laughable about the way Lugubrum have transcended musical boundaries to create a sometimes exotic musical melange like no other band in metal. SLOTH HAMMER
http://www.facebook.com/SlothHammerCircuit bending harsh noises, power tools, furbies and weird pedals atop bass drenched, doom hatred, dual vocals, one (or sometimes more) drummers, from Leeds.
Born by accident in the below zero temperatures of November 2010, in a foggy, hazy wasteland of despair, anguish and terror.
They improvise and jam and scare and enthrall and hypnotise and harm and stab and hack and bash and crash and crunch and stick things in your eyes and hit you with planks of wood and mash you into a stinking horrible mush.
HAAR
https://www.facebook.com/haarsoundsProgressive, discordant black metal from Edinburgh
WRAITHS
https://www.facebook.com/OrdoPestilentiaShunning the difference engines and thinking machines of the current age, these two tortured priests take the hymns of their past lives and pervert them into vast walls of howling sound; a blood-flecked gobbet of phlegm in the eye of their one-time Lord. Unholy screeches echo in a cathedral of white-noise static. Compared to acts as diverse as Burzum, Lustmord, Wolf Eyes and Sunn0))), Wraiths play equal parts black ambient, noise and ritualised drone.
