I'm always open to new sounds etc and not necessarily limited to to just metal or guitar oriented music. IE when I had free run of the stereo at work yesterday I had Bjork, Jace Everett (country - one of his songs was used as the theme to True Blood), Hindi Zahra (jazz, Nina Simone style) and my newest discovered pleasure, Zazie (french language pop/fusion. Plays like a mixture of Robyn meets Bjork).

Haha I dunno, maybe. Never been to a gig on my own, is it not weird? haha

Use to do loads of gigs by myself. (billy no mates!)
Still do a few alone but that due to not getting out as often and drifting apart from friends.
Nothing wrong with it, I use to bump into the same people all the time at some gigs, you knwo you got something in common and some people I built up a good friendship with and still speak to and always good for a floor to crash on.

Need to befriend some new folk in Nottingham and Birmingham as thats where all the best gigs seem to be happening of late.

Goings to gigs on your own isn't that bad. It allows you to do what you want, when you want etc, live to your own schedule rather than compromising to what other people want to do.

Then again I'm someone that pretty much has to do gigs on his own the majority of the time by way of a mixture of being natrually sociopathic, and having somewhat of an accidental excellence in "how to lose friends and alienate people" (in the sociological way not the book reading way).

In short, if you're a miserable loner like me, you'll revel in it. If not, it won't kill you. You still see people you know, nod at in respect, can hold a conversation with etc.

Just go on yer tod and get blasted, your mate John Smiths is always there behind the bar.
