i can't tell you if burst sound like neurosis, as i'm not a fan of neurosis. but if the stuff i've heard is representative of them, then burst are far from them. the ex-bassist of nasum is in burst, so i suppose you could call them a bit grind-esque as well. rumour has it he left nasum to concentrate on burst.
burst (to me) are a mix of hardcore, punky thrash with loads of metal in there. they sound is really emotional, a word which puts everyone off cos of all this "emo" shite, but again, burst are far from that. all i can say to you is give it a listen, i did and was very pleasently surprised.
