I agree with most everyone here, I'm not a fan of Varg the man by any means, but I am a fan of his music. I heard a track last night from Belus, Belus' Død, and I thought it was very good.

Just listening to one of the tracks, sounds alright and I was never particularly into Burzum (minus the comedy factor of Aske haha)

ya know... i think i agree on one level. it's miles behind most of the stuff that's been around for the last 10 years or so but then i don't think we could have hoped for anything other than this tbh. he's been away for so long it's not surprising it sounds bit... well... tbh i think it's not bad at all. quite enjoyable.

i'm actually quite liking it. really like the vocals. reminds me of old Enslaved a bit.
he's gone too far with the monotony though as someone else said earlier. it used to be hypnotic but now it's just dull after the 50th repeated 4 note riff.
still, it could VERY easily have been shite, which it's not. so there's hope the next release will be better.

I've listened to it a couple and times and I think it is generally "ok" his vocals sound better on this one imo. Musically though I perfer "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" though.
