I don't blame them in a way, MySpace is a steaming pile of shit of a web page with pointless computer-slowing-down graphics everywhere.
But, it is pretty much the site where you can listen to just about every new band in the universe that you read about.
Is there anything like an alternative?
Anybody else ever think metal-archives would do well to have a simple music sample player at the bottom of each bands page?

I'm hoping last.fm will take over where myspace is (soon to) leave off.
trouble is that most of the band pages are not maintained or created by the band/label/management.... if that changed then it's a go-go.

Last.fm has always been blocked at work, although I manage to scrobble to it.
Youtube works, but loads that slowly it might as well not have bothered. It must have a higher bitrate on the audio ... or the video is too much extra ...
