Hi folks, Just uploaded a drum cover of Thorns - Stellar Master Elite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlFzjPmdQck Hope you enjoy it! For the honour of Hellhammer, Snorre and Thorns! Thorns - "Stellar Master Elite" - Drum Cover From Thorns - "Thorns" - 2001 - Moonfog. Original track Copyright Moonfog. No copyright infringement intended. Alex York - December 23rd 2010. Roland TD12 + TD9KX + Extra Cymbals Axis AL2 Longboards (Black) Superior Drummer 2 Metal Foundry Reaper After Effects A little sloppy in places and not entirely accurate, but then I'm an interpretive drummer. My intention was not to cover this with absolute precision. More covers to come in the new year.

Hahah, nice one. Great track.
Do the V-Drums output MIDI to USB or do you need a MIDI interface? An amigo of mine has a small V-Drum set and I'm keen to hook it up to my copy of Superior Drummer and try it out at some point.

cheers yeh you need a MIDI/USB adapter. I just got a super cheapo crappy roland one and it works fine. feeds SD very well. you might want to grab Metal Foundry as well. much better kits/instruments than SD2.x by itself.

Righty ho, thought that'd be the case. I have a few EZX kits from before I upgraded to SD 2 but the Metal Foundary is probably next on my wishlist, can't have too many samples to choose from...

For the V-Drums? Couldn't tell you I'm afraid - though he's had the kit in my room for a little while now I'll have a look when I return from my parents' in a couple of days. It's one of the more basic ones I think.

Cool well that's the great thing about SD and TMF - makes any basic module sound awesome!
