I've not done anything apart from a biker's cover band weekend thing, which really doesn't count (although Sack Sabbath were mint).
I think Damnation Fest is my only hope this year.
Must get to this or Wacken next year, money permitting.

Wish I could go this year. sad thing is I live in derbyshire so its only a hop skip and a jump away! Alas, I am poor  Would have loved to have seen Coroner, Angel witch and Morbid angel!!! If they all played the same day I might have been able to afford it but they're all playing on different bloody days!!! Might have to use hippy festival sneaking in techniques...

Well after the event. ANGEL WITCH!!! Man they were amazing, new song sounded awesome, best atmosphere of the weekend. And, ahem. Bill Steer.
Other than that was a good festival, it does feel a little odd going to these pop festivals though, I'm just not used to it. People wearing colourful clothes and with bright hair.Odd. Well run and good atmosphere though. The main problem I had as the amount of bands I wanted to see was such a low percentage there was so much waiting around to do. Still there were enough bands I really enjoyed that it was worth it.

Fuck. I'm gutted I couldent see them! Angel Witch are one of the finest heavy metal bands of all time in my opinion. Kev doesent seem to be able to hit the high notes anymore though XD
