Any vinyl heads in here? I'm ashamed to say that I've only just started collecting, myself, but already doing well with the classics. Gotta say I really value vinyl.... CDs never go up in value but vinyl always will and they look amazing. To be perfectly honest I have no intention of actually playing the things, in order to maintain their condition, and also as I buy the CDs for the actual music. Post your vinyl collections here! With photos ideally. Especially any rarities. I'll get some shots of mine up soon once a few specials have arrived from abroad

I'm a bit of a vinyl head, but while I love rare vinyl and its value, I very much enjoy listening to vinyl. And I'm not gonna abstain from listening to it but, I just keep it in good condition.
My collection is pretty small, mainly just cause I'm skint a lot haha, oh and it's very unmetal haha...

Vinyl is surprisingly addictive once you get into it. Oddly no-one ever seems to 'start' collecting vinyl. By the time you realise you're collecting it, you've already got shitloads of stuff.
Plus there's not a lot more appealing a way to find out new (to you) bands than by random ad hoc selections in your record store.
The majority of my vinyl collection is grind, punk, hc or death so the kind of places to look distro-wise are, well, pretty obvious. That and ebay. Some of the stuff I've bought because it's vinyl only, some because of obsessive collecting impulse for particular bands. Some, just because it was a fucking bargain.
My collection anyway:

TheFamousEccles - are those Burzum's original pressings? if so, nicely done pulse mavens - tasty! I'm going to move this thread into the Trade subforum as this could well turn into a trading opportunity. Got a couple I'm already thinking of trading. Any photos of your collections, guys?

I'll take pictures of more. I have about 200 LP's and quite a few rarities. I have almost all the first pressing Drudkh Lp's I am missing Forgotten Legends unfortunately - the most difficult one to get. They went down in price since the reissues which sucks. My Autumn Aurora LP used to be worth about 200 bucks its only about 100 now. Assholes at Seasons Of Mist ruin my net value daily it seems. That Manilla Road record is still worth about 300 dollars though.
