hey guys and gals, off to wacken this week, am a wacken virgin, sad to say.
flying cheap  with ryanair to hamburg-luebeck  so wondering best tips for transfers. off direct to wacken on the thursday (prob itzehoe for bus), then staying sunday night in hamburg but need to get to this airport for 7-ish on monday. any of you intrepid souls done this? any tips/ideas/info? cheers!!
btw i can speak german, if that helps..

This is my third consecutive Wacken, although the first that I'll be flying out. This should be a killer festival, it's even looking like the weather might stay dry!

Wacken ruled, can't believe its over so quick, its truly an injustice to all of mankind. Part relieved though that Im back home now, had a nice 10 hour sleep last night which made a change and I can go and have a nice bath and wash my hair now, hmmmm 
By tomorrow though Im going to wish I could be back there Another whole year to wait before Im back in the holy land, noooo!!!!

Agreed: amazing festival, but now everything feels like the volume is turned down in comparison. I was planning on making '07 my last Wacken, but it was so fucking good, I might have to rearrange my ideas for next year.
The travel really wasn't that hard, given a stroke of luck on actually managing to get a shuttle bus out of Wacken without waiting for too long. All told, the trains and buses only cost 30E in and out. A fuck load cheaper than getting taxis.
