I saw Star Trek last night it was great, especially if you are a big geek like wot I am!! All the references to the original and performances were spot on!

Well, I've never read any of the LOTR books either, so actually, what happens?!  This general level of consternation has tended to meet me elsewhere when films come up, especially at work. People see long hair, they assume I dress up as Dath Vader at the weekend, but little do they know....

Bringing things slightly back on trrack.
Last film i watched that i genuinely thought was good was 'The Fall.'
Visually it is great and the little girl in it is quality, the naievity (sp) of her is almost captivating.
Other worthy mentions;
Linha De Passe
Story of a family in Brazil and trying to achieve there goals.
The Visitor
Quite touching, man finds illegal immigrants in his flat but bonds with them, things go wrong.
Behind the Sun
Brother has to revenge the death of his older brother because of tradition and an old feud. All he and his little brother want to do is get away from their life and end up getting captivated by some travellers.
Tsoti
South African film. Kid kills a mother, steals her car only to find out there is a baby in it.
Think i should have a career in writing film synopsis? Probably not...
Other than that, have to say that its been a while since watched anything really good.
If anyone got any sugestions, chuck them at me, i'll watch anything, running out ofthings to add on my Blockbuster list.
Oh, some 'no budget' fim called 'Colin' is apparently going down a storm at Cannes. Apparently made on only $70 but thats a load of crap as i'm sure the camera would of costed more than that. But they used left overs from other major hollywood sets, got people to act for free of social networking sites etc...
Fiilm is from the perspective of a zombie.
