Poirot to me is the equivalent of torture...
though that's more likely thanks to the fact that my dad has always had an uncanny knack of ALWAYS managing to find the single most boring programme on TV and insist on watching it.
We're talking everything from Poirot and foreign language films to Larkrise To bastard Candleford and beyond...

I'll have you know I don't watch Skins either because I have some sort of disease where the mere sight of any of those arrogant teenage scroats on screen makes me want to instantly punch something till it passes out and as television prevents me incapacitating them, I'm forced to remove myself from consciousness instead.
