More comics, Charlie Brooker and some Conan. By Crom, it's thumping good stuff.

Indeed I do! Frankie Boyle's My Shit Life So Far was surprisingly a fucking great read, but I dropped the fucking thing in the Best-Bath almost the instant I finished it. The Rik Mayall: Bigger Than Hitler, Better Than Christ It is everything I expected. Love it. "This is the best book ever written by the greatest man to have ever lived"

Just finished: midway through which I also started reading: (Highly recommended to anyone. Proof that the Americans - or at least some - do in fact get sarcasm/satire). So just started reading: to keep my frivolous to fiction ratio balanced.

Thursday I finished reading Arthur C Clarke's 'Rendezvous With Rama' which was... okay. Read Charles Bukowski's 'Post Office' friday/saturday, so continued with the following that I'd just started: Also bought another load of books from work (can't seem to stop buying them, though when I get them at almost an eighth of the publishers price, you can't blame me): Cormac McCarthy - 'Blood Meridian' and 'All The Pretty Horses' Richard Matheson - 'The Shrinking Man' Kurt Vonnegut - 'Armageddon In Retrospect' and 'Slaughterhouse 5' plus a book called 'Watching The English' for my friend's birthday (she's American) which is all about various qualms, foibles and nuances about what makes the English English.
