Should I have capitalized the 'a' of all? After all, I capitalized the 'm' of morrow. Who knows. But I'm getting off topic. Actually, I never started a topic. Maybe, the capitalization problems were the topic. In that case, getting off topic would be a good thing. So, getting swiftly off-topic.
As you have probably guessed (by my username) my name is Alasdhair. I'm 17. From the UK. Haven't been reading ZT that long, in fact I started at issue 23. Which is last issue. Very much enjoyed it, so I thought I'd come on here.
Uh... What else?
Right, I'm into Black/Death/Thrash/Industrial/Folk Metal, into both Metalcore and Deathcore... And folk music. (Värttinä anyone?). I'm in the process of writing some music for a Melodic Deathcore (is that even a genre?) project. Should see an EP sometime. But now I'm just getting into the ground of shameless promotion, right?
So, yeah. That's it, really.

Hey, welcome to the forum Btw, does 'good morrow all' actually make sense as a greeting? I always took 'morrow' to mean the day after the present day, rather than the present day. ...sorry

Errrr I started readin last year, u dont get many issues between then and now due to the 2 month between very release. But yeh its a really good mag, Im also reading Terrorize(r) (im not putting the correct name in case i get chucked off lol), which is also good. ZT recently has been better because of the UGBM articles, Ive found some seriously good stuff because of those. Black Stone Cherries? nope never heard of em, but I will soon lol U ever heard of a band called Aanal Beehemoth? They were in last issue's UGBM section, seriously weird but very goooood. Their first LP is being released for free via the band, in low fi before the CD release. Check their site lol

Misshapen, if your interested in the UGBM articles that NTB does, he does an article for Metal Maniacs magazine, usually ever issue but sometimes every other issue, that is massively inclusive. Its more of a "here is what you missed / I am a total elitist" styled rant than the well thought out articles in ZT.
Sorry ZT, we still love you!

Hello.
On the Nathan subject, Mr T. Birk, his articles are utterly in on themselves in terms of language, post-modernist loops as far as I'm concerned, but his taste in music is always spot on and purely his own. I think I'll take that in a music magazine over concisely written and accesable meaninglessness.
And Hello again.

I enjoy his writing to an extent. Most times I have no idea what he is talking about but he does a good job of making things sound interesting and important.
