Geldof in Africa - Don't be put off by the Irish c**t, cos it's brilliant. A real eye opener.
Nazis: A Warning From History - Laurence Rees (probably the most significant book on the Third Reich ever). Having read his book on Auschwitz I had to pick this up.
The First Casualty - Ben Elton. Don't be put off by the 80's Left-wing, four-eyed, sell out, short arsed, rubbish stand up twat- cos he's actually a really articulate novelist, and I'm glad I bought this book in spite of him (whilst I line his pockets- oh the irony)!

I am close to finishing Inga Muscio's 'c**t'. A very interesting read.

Been doing a bit of light reading recently, a series about Warrior cats by Erin Hunter!

I'm reading a lot of HP Lovecrafts short stories. 'Herbert West - Reanimator' and 'The Hound' are fantastic.
I would reccomend the following author Dougal Dixon. He often writes theoretical illustrated books about evolution and life. Two of his best works are After Man (that theorizes what animals might evolve into 50 million years hence, if mankind should go extinct) and Man After Man (part story/part theoretical science theorizing how evolution and mans technology will alter us throughout various eras)
