I suggest an artist called . He has done album covers :2x for wumpscut, 1x for cephalectomy, 3x for inner chaos, 1x for infliction) but his best art can be found in 'recent paintings' and 'the goomicronicron'. He mainly does surreal RPG illustrations and the themes tend to be very lovecraftian in nature.
Another favorite of mine is , a classically surreal painter who provided the artwork for the recent Killing Joke album 'Hosannas From The Basements Of Hell'.
