Yes, the media is largely full of retards. I didnt see that Brass Eye show, but even the clip they played (a guy with a filing cabinet of kids in it) looked funny.
Shaun of the Dead is good, although I think that they bollocksed up mix emotional continuancy. The speed from which comedy zombie killing goes to heart rending drama is too much. I enjoyed it more on subsequent watches than on the first. The DVD has some excellent stuff on it too.

Oh man, Brass Eye was classic. Noel Edmonds speaking out against Cake. 
Monkey Dust did a good "mass media paedophile frenzy" parody, too, with the rather excellent Paedo-finder General. "With the powers vested in me by News International/ The Baying Mob..."
