'This Is Modern Art' by Matthew Collings
Its an interesting read. In particular the chapter entitled 'Nothing Matters'. He talks about minimalism and objectivism, even though those schools of thought decree that their art is purposely emotionless and without meaning the chapter reveals an extremely eclectic history behind the canon. Diversity within absolutely nothing is quite mind blowing really.
Also he dedicated one chapter to prettier, nicer works of modern art entitled Lovely, Lovely. Its a subject that often gets missed out in the modern art world.
