Work has begun on the art design for "The Grey Emperor", Wraith's second self-released CDr. One hour of bleak, hypnotic rhythms and unholy noise in a strictly limited edition of 100 copies.
Expected April 2008.

All the good gigs seem to be in Scotland at the moment. London is full of rubbish. How can that be? Its London. Capitol of the universe...

Update on some forthcoming live dates. Total noise holocaust...
2nd April: Wraiths/Cnocantursa/Tim Holehouse - Unholy noise, black metal and folk drone at Henry's, Edinburgh.
5th April: Glasgow Implodes: Bong/Wraiths/Black Sun & many more in Glasgow's 13th Note.
12th April: Whitehouse/Seppuku/Kylie Minoise/Wraiths at The Hive, Edinburgh.
After these, all our energies will be directed towards getting The Grey Emperor finally released and some new material recorded. We have lain dormant too long...

The skies above Edinburgh have darkened as summer fades and rotting filth lines the streets...WRAITHS have returned. We've not been idle in our recent bout of silence so it's perhaps time to outline the plans for the near future. Hear ye! Hear ye!! UPCOMING RELEASES:THE GREY EMPEROR - Slowly dragging itself from the darkness with the help of , we're hoping that this will see the light of day some time in August. Perhaps the bleakest recording we've ever made, only lightened by the beautifully handmade packaging. A single, 50+min track on colour-printed CD in handmade triptych packaging with wax seal.HOLLOW PILGRIM - This two-track release on Canada's will be stalking across the blasted wasteland left by The Grey Emperor, dragging its emaciated limbs through the dust. 'Plague Cart' and 'Charnel House', two 20+min tracks. Format and packaging to be confirmed. We're also preparing demo versions of the DUST IN OUR MOUTHS full-length, an edited version of which appeared on the limited CDr released at the Hipp Hipp Hurray festival in Antwerp. These will be sent to certain, respected labels for consideration in the near future. Final prices for both these recordings are to be confirmed. Watch the relevant label wesbite for details.
