Definitely! The rest of the band has their debut album out with their new project Serpentcult, which doesn't sound all that bad either... The female vocals in Serpentcult were a turnoff at first, but now I'm getting used to them. They're not as good as, for example, the vocals on Jex Thoth or The Devil's Blood (both cool psyche-protodoom bands), but still quite good. Primula Pestis is one of my favourite (if not THE favourite) doom metal album, though, so Serpentcult can't touch that... Not yet at least. Anyway, TPoG is awesome!

I thought they were pretty cool live, but found the vibe of the album somewhat disappointing. I don't like Doom with stoner overtones so it doesn't get played very often by me.

What does the bands name mean exactly? A plague of gentlemen. 'Thee' implying its an old fashioned influx of males? I'm confused.

The name always remindes me of The League Of Gentlemen, but I'm sure this is merely coincidence.
