Final Fantasy 9 is my favourite game ever

It took me ages to understand Final Fantasy 13's insane and heretical NOT ACTUALLY TURN BASED battle system, but once I calmed myself down and stopped crying I actually quite liked it :p Never before have I played an RPG type game where I split the likeability between characters so neatly.

Lightning: I'm the main protaginist. I have a sword... A gun sword... [Belly acknowledges her presence and nothing more]

Sazh: Don'tchu mess with mah friends fool! I's gotta save mah kid from dem Pulse fal'Cie doods! [Belly hugs Sazh, and then immediately goes to hell for being a massive racist]

Vanille: We're being hunted like common criminals and were surrounded by weird ass monsters... But look how unecessarily happy I am! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! [Belly pinches Vanilles cheeks]

Snow: I'M A HERO! I CAN PUNCH BAD GUYS WITH MY MANLY FISTS! MY GIRLFRIEND TURNED TO CRYSTAL! I'M NOT GAY! [Belly tells Snow to fuck off before mooning him]
