I would avoid low cost names also known as LCN.BIZ etc etc. We originally hosted this board and site through them and it was down for 3 days without even an apology from them, we got told "3rd party routing problem, not our fault". Suffice to say, their service is less than perfect, with multiple downtimes.

We are hosted through hosteurope.com (via pipex)
. We've had no problems so far, and the customer support is good. We chose them as they are ultra reliable.

However, i've recently hosted another site through 3dpixelnet.com, and they seem fantastic, great support. We had a problem reloading a phpbb2 board on the new server and the techs there did it for me in 4 minutes, with zero fuss. Very cheap, i've only used them for a week but no problems so far, and i hear their uptime is very good.

interesting stuff, cheers for that, will check out those hosts, some news this morning makes me want to leave our current hosts even more! been using hot chilli for a while, and this morning have had a massive bill slapped on us for the direct debits not getting through to them, it has taken them 6 months to bother getting in touch though when it was them who didn't even update the details that was supplied in april!

that pixelnet one looks rather good actually.. runs all the scripting and even has the one click application suite sounding like you can create a fully content managed site easily, which is what we want.. we have people on board who can make their own, but for how we wanna set it up that looks promising indeed, cheers for that..

well, our server change is currently in mid swing, we decided on 34sp.com after a few good recommendations from people we know as well..
unfortunately our previous hosts hotfuckingchilli can REALLY fuck off after totally pissing up about this last couple of weeks even more, and THEN trying to charge another months fee after the date i told them to terminate the service..
fucking RUBBISH!!

but the one click application suite thing is being set up offline using something called sub dreamer, so won't be long until Raw Nerve is the beast that it ought to be!!!
