I have the new Orphaned Land album to review very soon so thought I should relisten to Mabool to remind myself of them. And I'm now wondering why I've never given them more of a chance in all the years I've been aware of them, they are rather unlike anyone else...

Isis - Wavering Radiant
I still prefer the previous three, but I'm liking it much more now.

A Somber Wind From A Distant Shore by Canis DirusGood recommendation ZT Admittedly they sound almost EXACTLY like Drudkh with some of Kawir's vocals thrown in - but I don't count this as a bad thing.

Tyrant-Reclaim the Flame
Preceded by Hateful Abandon's Famine (or Into the Bellies of Worms) Still not sure about this album, I might be getting closer to thinking it starts poorly but ends well. They're definately now considered to be better than Embrace Of Thorns, but taht's a personal grading system.
